In response to U.S. President Joe Biden's announcement of higher tariffs on Chinese imports, China has expressed firm opposition. The increased tariffs, affecting approximately $18 billion worth of annual imports from China, include key sectors such as semiconductors, electric vehicles, solar cells, steel, and aluminum, according to the White House.
