In the first half of 2024, China's GDP grew by 5%, reaching 61.68 trillion yuan (8.65 trillion USD). The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that GDP expanded by 5.3% in Q1 and 4.7% in Q2. The annual GDP growth target, set at around 5% in March, considers the evolving domestic and international dynamics.
