Seafood Exports grow in China

Chinese seafood processors are experiencing strong export growth as fishing resumes in the East China Sea following a three-month moratorium. In Zhejiang Province, a Taizhou City workshop is processing about 30 tons of red shrimp daily, with 95% destined for export. Overall, exports have increased by over 20% this year, with Taizhou City exporting more than 33,000 tons of processed seafood in the first half of the year, an 18% rise compared to the previous year.
