Ghana, one of the world's top cocoa producers, has reduced its cocoa production target by 40 percent due to various challenges. Cocoa farmer Aboagye Ntow expressed concern over the impact of this decision on farmers' livelihoods. Edward Karaweh, General Secretary of the Ghana Agriculture Workers Union, cited factors such as adverse weather conditions and pest infestations as reasons for the production cut.
