In a high-security lab in Rome, top Italian scientists are perfecting cutting-edge laser guidance technology crucial for China's Chang'e-6 moon mission. This collaboration aims to enhance the mission's precision in collecting dust and rock samples from the moon's far side, a first in space exploration. The predecessor mission in 2020 successfully returned 1.73 kilograms of material from the lunar near side.
