Established in 2005, the C10 was constituted to advocate for a cohesive African stance in the ongoing intergovernmental negotiations on Security Council reform within the United Nations framework. The Committee comprises ten African nations: Algeria, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Libya, Namibia, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Senegal, and Zambia.
