The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) announced on Wednesday a shift from providing homogeneous support to a "needs-based" approach for refugees in Kenya. This strategy aims to enhance the efficiency and impact of assistance by tailoring food aid based on each family's food security and socio-economic status. Currently, WFP supports 650,000 refugees, including those in the Dadaab refugee camp, one of the world's largest camps in northeastern Kenya.
