Slovenia Supports Chinese-made EVs Despite EU Tariffs

Slovenia, a small but eco-conscious country in Central Europe, has become one of the few EU nations to resist a decline in electric vehicle (EV) sales. With a population of just over 2 million, Slovenia has maintained subsidies for EVs, unlike countries such as Germany and Sweden, which have phased them out. Despite the European Commission’s decision to impose tariffs on Chinese-made EVs, Slovenia has continued to support imports of these vehicles.
