A humanitarian pause is set to begin Thursday morning in Gaza, facilitated by joint efforts from Qatar, Egypt and the U.S. The ceasefire aims to secure the release of around 50 hostages, primarily children and women, held in Gaza, including foreign nationals. In exchange, approximately 150 Palestinian females and teenagers incarcerated in Israel will be released. The hostages will be freed in smaller groups over four days, with the ceasefire coinciding with each release.
