The persistent impact of inflation has led to a decline in car sales in South Africa for the eighth consecutive month. Thembinkosi Pantsi, Vice Chair of the National Automobile Dealers' Association, expressed concern over the sustained downturn, attributing it to rising costs and economic uncertainty. Dealer Principal Kulani Makaringe of KIA Northcliff echoed these sentiments, noting that high inflation rates have eroded consumer purchasing power.
