China's pioneering nuclear-powered industrial steam supply project, named 'Heqi-1', has commenced operations at the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in Jiangsu Province. Unlike traditional nuclear projects focused on electricity generation, Heqi-1 harnesses steam from the turbine system to produce industrial steam through a multi-layered isolation system. This steam is then transported via pipelines to a petrochemical industrial base through multi-stage heat transfer.
