China News: Made-in-China merchandise hits shelves in Paris ahead of Olympic Games

As the 2024 Paris Olympic Games approach, licensed stores in the city are bustling with shoppers’ eager for merchandise. Many of the plush dolls featuring the official mascots, known as the Phryges, are predominantly made in China, with about 80% of these items manufactured there. The remaining products are made in France using Chinese raw materials and components. This trend highlights China's significant role in supplying Olympic merchandise.
