In east China's Huzhou City, known as a major center for freshwater fish production and trade, ice blocks are in high demand during the scorching summer months. The city's largest ice-making market in Hefu Town sees over 100 cold storage trucks daily, lined up to purchase more than 100,000 tons of fish and ice blocks. With ice plants operating at full capacity, they are expected to remain busy throughout the summer to keep up with the demands of preserving fish.
