China News: Chinese Bayberries Enjoy Sweet Success On Global Markets

Bayberries from east China's Zhejiang Province, known for their unique flavor and short shelf life, are gaining global popularity thanks to innovative cooling and packaging methods that extend freshness for up to two months. These techniques, along with expedited customs clearance, have boosted exports to over 20 countries. Zhejiang has produced 700,000 tonnes of bayberries this year, accounting for more than half of China's total output.
