The Kenya Kwanza presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua guaranteed a maximum victory against their contenders, the Azimio-OKA coalition comes August 9th polls.
Gachagua announced that Mt. Kenya votes aligned for Deputy President Willam Ruto and that, Azimio has no room for zoning votes in whatever case.
Speaking at Moi Gardens in Kericho town, Rigathi ousted the Azimio presidential nominee Raila Odinga as a downfall project with no chance of winning the presidency despite five times attempts.
Gachagua chest thumped himself saying Raila’s presidential running mate Martha Karua was no match to him and William Ruto.
“Karua is not a tough match to Kenya Kwanza. We shall position her where she belongs. Kenya Kwanza will haunt votes in all directions to prove that Karua being appointed as running mate was just but a political intuition to Azimio coalition,” said Gachagua.
He further alleged that they shall take Raila to his home Bondo come August 9 after they (Kenya Kwanza) clinch into government.
The Mathira Mp plea to Kericho voters to adopt the 6-piece sequence during an election.
“Kenya Kwanza can win the election but with no numbers in parliament, the government shall not have effective powers in passing parliamentary bills. Kenyans will not come out of the economic bondage if we won’t prioritize Kenya Kwanza. Let’s vote in blocs and we shall emerge as champs,” he said.
Some of the leaders who accompanied Gachagua in the Kericho Sunday prayer rally include Bungoma senator Moses Wetang’ula, Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony, and his counterpart Governor Hilary Barchok among other leaders.
Africa Inland Church leaders from both Kericho and Bomet Counties organised the prayer event attended by the UDA nominees in the two counties.
AIC deputy presiding Bishop Paul Kirui conducted the Kericho prayers rally.
Wetang’ula said Raila will not unravel the economic crisis issue of the country, joblessness among youths and the international debts the country faces presently.
“Raila has told Kenyans that he would follow president Uhuru Kenyatta’s footsteps. That means he will not only increase the international debts, reduce employment but also jeopardizing the Kenyan Economy.” Wetang’ula said.
DP Ruto held prayers at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa Langas in Eldoret before proceeding to Kabarnet Museum grounds for an interdenominational thanksgiving prayer service for Baringo UDA party nominees. Later on, the team converged at Kampi ya Moto in Rongai, Nakuru County before making their way to Free-Area in the City.
Mr Joseph Cherorot, the UDA nominee for the Kipkelion East constituency said
There was a need for voters across the country to ensure that they vote for the Kenya Kwanza team to fix the economy that has been battered in the last five years.
“The economy of the country has suffered for a very long time and it is time the leadership of this country transits to one that is keen on fixing it so as to create employment opportunities and allow industry to thrive,” said Mr Cherorot.
A number of the MPs said the Kenya Kwanza team will deliver the region for DP Ruto in the August poll and that other parties should rally behind the team.
“Voters should be left to decide who their Governors, Senators, Woman Representatives, Members of Parliament, Members of County Assembly at the county level, and deliver all their votes to DP Ruto for the Presidency,” said Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno.
