As the long weekend was coming to an end, the beautiful ladies on chat spot, Nonny Gathoni, Jackie Matubia and Kush Tracey were joined by Reedah Yvonne, the sassy Mama Shum who is a content-creator, voice-over artist and radio presenter on the table. Noni pointed out that ‘’Older women have their stuff together and actually don’t mind having some ben 10 in their lives, its non-complicated.’’ Jackie added, ‘’actually to a full woman, a man is just…well an icing on the cake.’’ Do you think dating a younger lad or lady is way better than dating an older one? Most people confuse older with maturity. Our guest host however, schooled us that, maturity comes from different dynamics, past experiences, culture, background. Maybe the saying age is just a number just might be right!
Meet the most Influential woman in her time.
Teacher Wanjiku, alias Caroline Wanjiku is a household name in Kenya. She actually holds number 6 and 13 on Facebook and Instagram respectively on Kenya’s top influencers as per engagement. She was recently in Seattle winning the most influential woman in her time award.
‘’I have never been a pageant before and it was an honor having the current Miss U.S.A awarding me my second award.’’ The online comedian explained.
On Ambassadorial and Humanitarian role
She has recently being appointed by Stan Bic bank as an ambassador for the Dada initiative campaign. It rolls out this month and it focuses on the unemployed, employed and progressive women on chamas and financial advice. She will also be hosting a class on Centonomy class on mastering wealth creation mindset.
The phenomenal woman who boasts of over a million followers on her Instagram posted about the Mwiki project a while back and it got mixed reactions. Mwiki primary school is the second largest school in Kenya and has only 22 washrooms. It has 1700 girls and they have 11 toilets. These are also shared by the kids aged 3-5 years and they have no door nor sanitary towel bins.
‘’My team and I decided therefore to add a block. 22 more toilets and 2 for the little children, that way they don’t have to share. Most of these girls go home with infections and parents have no idea what they go through. So I went on Instagram just to ask people to give what they can since 80% of the feedback was positive.’’ She concluded.
