Popular actress Catherine Kamau also known as Kate actress is elated with her pregnancy. She celebrated her pregnancy with her husband, former Tahidi high actor Phillip Karanja. The couple went on a Baby moon at Maldives. The pregnancy announcement took the internet by storm as they kept the pregnancy journey private until recently.
The couple are expecting their first child together however Catherine gave birth to her firstborn son at 19. Being a single mother at that tender age took a toll on her and she has been vocal about it. They took their time before they shared their union with their fans. From dating, to their relationship status, the engagement and finally marriage. They have served nothing but couple goals since they come out to the limelight. The Karanjas are over the moon, and eating life with a big spoon celebrating their first child together in their decade long relationship

The couple tied the knot in 2017.their ceremony was marked with pomp and colour. The couple did not disappoint. They announced via social media their excitement at the prospect of being parents.
The actress wanted to get pregnant before they got married but Phillip insisted on making an honest woman out of her first. Having being pregnant before she knew, getting a baby would be instant but that was not the case. In her YouTube channel, she reveals how she is impatient and every time after consummation she would rush and test to check the results. Each time her eager, enthusiasm and hope was met and crushed with disappointment. Encouraging women who want to get pregnant she said at times all women need to do is relax. Nothing was wrong with her however, she was anxious get a pregnant.
