It is not man’s wish to perish but for a while now Wema Sepetu has expressed not wanting to exist but still holds on. She writes about exactly whom and what she desires upon her death.
Her burial desires
Wema has a specific influential person in mind, whom she considers an extremely close friend to her and her family. She not only mentions her name severally but also posts her so often on social media.
“On the day of my funeral, all the mourners should come looking happy and wherever my body will be placed should be well decorated and in full of pink flowers that are attractive. The person that I would wish to be there with my family after my death is my Aunty Ezekiel. I would also like Aunty Ezekiel to be the first to place a wreath on my grave before any other celebrity does so.”
Keep your house in order
Chatspot hosts Jackie Matubia, Kush Tracey and Nonny Gathoni fully support Wema Sepetu for the decision she’s made. Jackie Matubia goes ahead to name a few personalities who have done the same.
“People like the late Wangari Mathai, she was cremated… Julie Gichuru in a poem said she would like to be cremated and her ashes poured in the Indian Ocean. It is fine, you know, at this day and age it is okay to wish. Even the late Bob Collymore and it is fine…”
Kush Tracey advices tycoons especially, to plan for their deaths. They should keep their houses in order by writing their wills and catering for every member of the family. She includes side chicks as well.
Would you, today, be okay making a list of things you want done upon your death? What exactly would that be?
