12 years later and not once did he look back. If that is the case, how did acting rob him off his childhood?... He is a stylish and composed adult now and there is more to him than meets the eye.
On this episode of Chatspot, Govi from your favorite show Machachari meets the lovely Jackie Matubia, Kush Tracey and Nonny Gathoni to expound more on details his career and life away from the screens.
“True, it robbed me off my childhood”
Call him Malik Lemuel. His first pay check dates 2002 as a kid when he did voice overs for Famila, porridge flour company. 2005 led him to his first screen appearance, Makutano Junction for a year. In 2008 to this year January 2019, Machachari has been his ‘baby’.
He did not have the ‘normal life’. It had to be school Monday to Friday and work 5.00 a.m. during the weekends. If he had to play, that would be night time. That aside, acting made him get to unimaginable levels of career growth.
Lover Boy
If you are looking to get him on your radar, he admits he is a lover boy. He however wants to keep his love life on the low. Govi says his type is girls who simply don’t drool over him.
What about Machachari?
“Wale wameuliza how our lives are gonna be, we are still okay, tumejipanga fiti. Vitu mpya zinakam, much love…”
If you frequent his Instagram page, he often hashtags all his posts as young billionaire. Taking that into consideration, best believe he has got his life on track.
On matters Machachari, Govi clears the air on his social media. First off, he requires uttermost respect therefore no linking the matter to him or his colleagues, the likes of Baha. He says it was a good 11 years and now time to let go. He and his film gang left Machachari in January and are on to new deals.
