Vanessa Mdee takes Rotimi home for Introduction

Vanessa Mdee and Power actor Rotimi Akinosho have been flaunting their new found love for each other on social media for a while now. The love birds decided to take it a notch higher and cross over 2020 together in the beauty’s motherland. They landed in Dar res Salaam early on the morning of the 31st of December 2019.

The couple looked radiant walking hand in hand at Julius Nyerere International Airport. Mdee’s fans were ecstatic as they concluded the singer had brought her Nigerian lover home for introduction to her parents and sisters. They spent some time at different places before the end of year show at Club Velisas which they were both set to perform. Many people were impressed by Rotimi’s visit given this was his first time to set foot in Tanzania.

They performed together…

Their performance was at an event dubbed Power Moves NYE 2020 Celebration of the year where they thrilled their fans at the sold out concert on New Year’s eve. The Cash Madam Singer performed alone, hyping the crowd before she was joined by Rotimi on stage for a duet that lasted a several minutes. Rotimi, known for his acting prowess proved to the world that singing is a talent he’s blessed with. His showing on the night left ladies screaming and begging for more.

The two lovers seem to be serious about their relationship. Vanessa mentioned in a radio interview in October 2019 that she believes Rotimi is the “one” for her. The two have been serving couple goals as Mr. Butterscotch has taken his Bae to Tyler Perry Studios and on a vacation in Miami. To some, their romance is too much and there have been calls for slowing down. Mdee’s Ex, Juma Jux said he wishes her the very best and truly hopes that Rotimi will put a ring on it.  

New beginnings…

2019 was a good year for the couple’s individual careers as Mdee was named a judge on the first edition of East Africa has got Talent show and Rotimi’s Love riddim song got close to 12 million views on YouTube.

As 2020 sets off, Rotimi will be busy on set shooting his hit show Power while Vanessa will be busy with her fans on her new podcast called Deep Dive. In the podcast she talks about her life, her experiences and her journey to fame.
