Tanasha Donna and Diamond Platnumz

Barely a year has passed since Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack famously known as Diamond Platinumz and his Kenyan Baby Mama Tanasha Donna started dating. They were blessed with a baby boy late last year, did a song together early this year that did really well, making Tanasha the fastest rising female artist in Kenya. This relationship was going so well. Actually, we were all waiting for the wedding bells with Tanzanians already referring to Tanasha as shemeji. That is until rumors of their breakup surfaced, backed by a post on Tanasha’s insta-stories where she warned her fans of narcissistic personalities.

“People like this have no soul and humanity left in them. Pure Evil. It’s like dancing with the devil. Forgive them, walk away and let God deal with their Karma. The narcissists always believe that karma won’t hit them until it does. Sometimes it takes experience and realization to learn, pray hard every day!! 5 times a day if possible. Because dealing with a narcissist is like dealing with the devil himself. Protect your soul,” she posted.

She later went on to unfollow her baby daddy on Instagram together with all his family members, as well as delete some of the photo’s they had taken together, leading many to believe that there was trouble in paradise. The final blow came when she left Tanzania where she had been invited to make a club appearance and came back to Kenya, posting a photo on her insta-stories captioned, back home where I belong.

She continued raving via her insta-stories promising her fans especially the beautiful strong women, more music that will tell her story.

Thank you Allah. I feel your presence Allah. Every time you close one door, you open another. Each and every single time. Now wait and see what I have in store for you all, especially my beautiful strong women. Get ready for a lot of new music. I will tell my story through it. I will never sell my soul. It’s all God over here," she posted.

Rayvanny gets involved

Musician Rayvanny who is signed by the Wasafi Record Label, yesterday confirmed that indeed Diamond and Tanasha had parted ways. In a hilarious post, he asked fans where Diamond should date next.

“Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda; asanteni kwa watoto ?????? tumemalizana na east Africa. ?? je mnataka simba asongee nchi gani tena??? ?????? Oooh!!! Poleni bado naskia rwanda na burundi ndo tumalizane na mambo ya east Africa” Rayvanny posted.

The reason for their split is yet to be confirmed but it is alleged that Diamond flew out to the States with his Jeje model, Malaika Salatis, which seems to have agitated Tanasha. But this is not the first time Diamond has been accused of cheating on Tanasha. Last year, he is alleged to have cheated on her with Lulu Diva, a Tanzanian Musician, claims he refuted. Earlier this year, more cheating rumors surfaced, this time with a mysterious woman going by the name Rose wa D. She is said to be following Diamond in all his concerts and was being financed by him.

Zari Hassan, the mother to Diamond’s first two children had previously warned Tanasha of Diamond’s cycle of impregnating women and moving on, advising her to get ready to raise her child on her own.

"Diamond was supposed to move on and he is supposed to sire children as many times as he wants…Tanasha being pregnant is a beautiful thing, but she must be ready to take care of her child because all that is happening is the same thing, if you look at the cycle, with me and other women involved with Diamond, it’s the same thing, there’s nothing new.” Zari said.

Do you think Tanasha Donna finally had enough of Diamond and his ‘cheating’? In Yesterday’s episode of Chatspot, the ladies; Mary Mwikali, Kush Tracy, Joyce Maina and Nana Owiti, all agreed that for a woman to finally decide to walk away, she has stomached enough and has reached breaking point.

“I am sure Tanasha had told herself; this is the last time, this is the last time…you know the way they say, you are 69 break ups away from actually breaking up, I think she had reached the last one. This was a long time coming” said Joyce Maina.
