Farmers in Xinjiang’s remote desert region have successfully raised their first batch of market-ready blue crabs in the harsh saline-alkali waters of a marsh formed at the edge of the Taklimakan Desert. This innovative farming method not only utilizes previously unusable land but also boosts local production.
