China's ship exports are experiencing a surge, solidifying the nation's position as a global shipbuilding leader. In the first half of the year, exports increased by over 85 percent from the same period last year, reaching more than 20 billion U.S. dollars. Chinese shipbuilders captured over 70 percent of global new ship orders. A shipyard in Dalian, a northeastern port city, reports production scheduled until 2028, with nearly all orders from international clients.
