Colombian President Gustavo Petro has landed in Beijing for his first state visit to China since taking office. His visit comes on the heels of similar state visits by Latin American leaders, including Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Chilean President Gabriel Boric, who attended the recently concluded Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing.
