Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, in a press briefing held in Beijing, emphasized that the recent expansion of the BRICS membership is in accordance with the shared aspirations of emerging markets and developing countries. He highlighted that this expansion aligns with the historical trend toward a multi-polar world. With the inclusion of new partners, the BRICS group of emerging-market nations now comprises 10 members.
