Heihe City in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province is emerging as a hub for vehicle test drives, especially in cold weather conditions. The city's ultra-frigid temperatures make it an ideal location for automakers to conduct cold weather testing, similar to Lapland in Europe. With around 20 test drive bases, established relationships with parts manufacturers and research institutes and the country's first cold weather driving course for 5G unmanned vehicles.
