Chinese shield tunnelling machines are making significant inroads into international markets, now representing seven out of every ten machines worldwide. At a workshop in Zhengzhou, a nearly 14-meter diameter tunnelling machine is undergoing final checks before being shipped to Italy. These machines are equipped with advanced technology to handle specialized drilling conditions, such as gas-rich ground and rock.
