The China-Vietnam border region experiences a remarkable increase in the number of Vietnamese travellers, driven by a special border pass facilitated by travel agencies. This pass enables convenient border crossings, allowing Vietnamese nationals to explore the entirety of Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province. According to local tourism department data, the prefecture has already welcomed approximately 85,000 tourists from Vietnam this year.
