ABB Electrification, a Swiss leader in electrification technology, has revealed plans to invest $100 million in building a "net-zero" smart production base in China. The investment aims to support technology development and contribute to China's ongoing energy transition initiatives. This move follows ABB's recent establishment of a new assembly line for medium-voltage switchgears in Xiamen, which has become one of the company's major manufacturing bases in the region.
